Hi Sandy I am on the opposite side of the state to you and if your weather has been like ours you very likely may not see any sign of certain dormant daylilies because so far we have not had a true Spring. We did have the lighting requirements for Spring and the rains but not the warmth that most likely triggers the growth of some dormants. I have a whole new lineout of one of my new intros (dormant) and they haven't shown their little heads! I tell you, if this weren't such odd weather I WOULD be worried...but considering the circumstances I think they are still alive and well..sure hope so! So I am trying to say..don't give up yet.....by the way..as I write this, we have just totaled 7" of snow since 7AM today..so now that will keep the soil colder than normal tool.
Enjoying God's creation, one leaf at a time
