Chelle, my seedling is at the same stage as yours in your picture. The more I learn about this plant, the more interesting it becomes - can't wait to see how it develops.

Gypsy - thank you about sharing how easily it roots in water. I was wondering, since it's related to coleus, if it might share that attribute. Long ago I had a neighbor who wintered her coleus and other summer annuals as cuttings in variously colored antique jars of water, tiny enough to sit on the sashes of her windows through winter. Her windows looked like jewel boxes. Anyhoo, I don't have room to winter a whole plant this large, but cuttings over winter I can do.
