I'd root prune them now, at least partially. Then keep them watered and shaded if necessary until it's time to dig for the move. Root pruning is usually suggested when plants are dormant, but since you need them moved soon I'd think you'd still be better off in trying to get new feeder roots to grow before you go. A root stimulator product applied after root pruning and at the time of transplanting might also help.
