All of the Jewel of Desert series seems to be pretty compact to me. They are very easy to maintain in a certain size too. If you think they are too wide or bushy, you can just pinch off pieces and put them some place else. I took about 50 cuttings of 'Lavender Ice' and Ashtonii 'Blut' today because they are so beautiful that I want them in a bigger area. They are by far the most impressive as far as size of bloom and coverage are concerned. I'm very impressed with them. I am mixing them up in pots together so I can plant them and be sure to have both mixed together really well.. I have about a six foot section that I am going to edge with them. All of the plants there are purple or colors that go well with those two. Hurray!
