I really should be tip pinching them as they grow...sigh...but I let it go too long. With the sidoides I'll need to take it off gradually, some from the tip and then keep cutting back gradually, I think, since it's only the one stem and I've let it go too long, rather than lopping it off down to lowest growth. With my large geraniums, when they're more shrub-like and multi-stemmed, I'll cut back one stem at a time down to the base to renew. Oh yeah, always have to root those cuttings. lol...
