Polly ...I have some crooked stalks and some short ones. We all want each one to be the quality for best specimen at a show but it doesn't always turn out that way. Unless you have a high % I would just chalk it off. Disappointing though....I had an incredible ruffly lacey seedling bloom last year. This year the blossoms are having real problems opening. Guess it is good-bye to that one.
