I'm sorry Cinta, that I didn't see your post earlier, and didn't welcome you when I did! I sometimes wonder if we need a person here to be a sort of "welcome committee" but then, I'm not sure how we would keep track of who is new. I know its hard for me to remember the names of people who don't post all the time, and I'm a moderator *Blush* So sometimes I miss welcoming someone just because I didn't realize they were new, not because I didn't want them to feel welcome.

The Porch Swing and Weather chat threads move so fast, and with a lot of people posting - some new folks can feel left out... but I truly do not think it is intentional - it's just that the thread moves so quick. If someone new posts at 8 a.m. and then someone else gets home from work, sits down after dinner to read the thread - there might be 30 posts since the new person made theirs in the morning. I make a new thread every 500 posts and sometimes that means every two weeks! Rolling my eyes.
