When you are writing in any bbcode enabled box on ATP (such as a thread or plant comment, etc.) and you want to reference a plant in the database, you can now do so with a special bb code I created.

Find the plant in question and look on the right side of its "View Page" and you'll see a "ATP BB Code" link that has [ plant ] as its syntax. Just copy and paste it into your post and it'll work.

So, for example, if I want to link to the plant Rose (Rosa 'Tangerine Streams') I would just go to that plant and copy the code I see on the right side.

If you already know the ID of the plant, just write the code out like:

[ plant ]12345[/plant]

(removing the spaces, of course). This should make it much more convenient to link to a plant in the database.
