You need automatic shade covers, Lynn. Push a button and the shade cloth comes up over your hoops.

Seriously, I think semps in containers stand more chance of heat damage than those planted in normal garden situations or raised bed. I have planted many of my new ones in smallish clay pots one per pot) and now I need to find some shade for them. Stay tuned...
