Caramel is a pretty heuchera however, I have problems with it getting rust and it will not take much sun. Many of the light leaves will not go in full sun. To me dark colors would contrast nicely with the roses when in bloom but in the winter would be dark to look at on stormy dark days. I live in Washington state and we have so many dark gray days in winter.
Do you feed your roses a lot? Heuchera do not like much fertilizer.
