My Free Wheeling died just this week.
It never recovered from winter - neither did Tusk which disappeared a couple of weeks ago. But they were both planted in the bed I lost a LOT of other perennials in. That bed got ALL of the snow drifts, and at one point I believe the ice and snow cover was about 4 feet thick.
