Day 13- we took a parting look at the beautiful city of nearby Cuenca and then we drove to Guayaquil. The next morning we took the 6 am flight home.
and it is always nice to look at a few more Orchids! and other fun stuff along the way.
We encountered a lot of fog along the way at high altitude and these girls played a game of Soccer right in it. Lunch? Klaus was ready to stay a while and watch the game.

I hope you enjoyed my report, we certainly loved our trip and perhaps you might like to visit Ecuador yourself one of these days. It is indeed an Orchid lover's paradise aside from being a beautiful, very clean country with interesting people and without abject poverty. We had no problem eating and drinking local food and water.
