Nice juicy really sweet ripe home grown cantaloupe for lunch with cucumber and tomato salad. I love to eat lunch from veggies I pick from the garden. Tasty and nutritious. But I am planning on eating leftover Chinese food for dinner. Hilarious!

The cantaloupes have been exceptional this year. This in spite of an abundance of rain which I understand is supposed to cut down on flavor and make them less sweet. But mine have been great. Could be because I am growing a new variety called Sugar Cube from Burpee. I love it and will have it again next year.
