I no longer have any wisteria in my garden and never had it on any structures or buildings. Mine just used to be a stand alone shrub (tree?) that needed constant pruning. No more, after years I couldn't stand the upkeep and dug them out. To this day I still have roots pop up foliage and need to dig again.

But directly over my fence line my neighbor has a wisteria so I do get to enjoy those lovely fragrant flowers each spring.
