I tried all those kinds of labels. The Sharpie fades so bad, even the industrial strength ones. I really like the ones I'm making because I can make many on one sheet of paper. I could even make duplicates to have ready to replace any that fade. Once you make one, you can save that one as a template and just change the text and code every time. It's not for everybody, but it was actually fun to do and saves me a lot of money on supplies.
