A THANKSGIVING TO REMEMBER

ALVIN and his CHIPMUNK buddies decided that they wanted to go to the Thanksgiving Day Parade. It would be the best ADVENTURE TIME ever. MARCHING ON, with a PROMISE TO BEHAVE, they arrived at the parade. Their goal was to have a super time and a fantastic HOLIDAY. AFTER ALL, soon it would be BACK TO SCHOOL again.

The parade was a blast. Every MARCHING BAND played the most enjoyable holiday music. Everyone was so excited that they threw a WHOLEBUNCHALOTTA confetti. The floats were awesome. There was ALLADIN’S CASTLE and in the castle was the most beautiful PRINCESS, with her PRINCE CHARMING. Her dress looked like a PROM GOWN, ADORNED WITH JEWELS. This gorgeous gown was a PROSPECTOR’S DELIGHT. There was also a TOY CASTLE, filled with ELVES. TINKERBELL and PINOCCHIO were there as well. Then CINDERELLA’S COACH showed up and CINDERELLA was adorned in an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS gown. THE BAND PLAYED ON as the parade continued. Finally, the parade was near the end and Santa showed up. SANTA’S BEARD glistened in the SUNSHINE. SANTA’S SUIT and SANTA’S PANTS were the most brilliant of reds. The HOLIDAY MOOD was evident as SANTA’S KEY was handed to the town mayor. What a JOYFUL OCCASION and a TIME WELL SPENT. Tired, it was TIME TO GO and join the FESTIVE time at home and eat the well prepared meal.

FEAST YOUR EYES on all that food they shouted. Not only was there turkey and dressing but the desserts were OUT OF THIS WORLD. What to decide on eating was a chore. The traditional PUMPKIN PIE was there of course but there was also TIRAMISU, PUMPKIN BERRY TRUFFLE, FESTIVE GINGERBREADS, CINNAMON CHERRIES, and also MAMMA’S CHERRY PIE. Alvin decided on PRUNE DANISH. The ABUNDANT BLESSINGS along with the HOLDAY SONG, ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS, was an end to a perfect day.

If they could stay awake, it was time to watch football. Putting on their GAME FACE, with PUPPY DOG EYES, the game began at SUNSET. It was now TRAIL’S END to a fabulous day. THANK YOU was uttered AGAIN AND AGAIN and A MOMENT IN TIME came to an end of a Thanksgiving to Remember.
