Lynn I have never been afraid either. But I am a bit isolated so I thought I might need something.

My city is very safe and the area I live in is safe but I am the product of a Police officer Dad that said I should always have protection. We always had a dog growing up and I love dogs. This is the first time I had one trained specifically for protection.

She is the family pet along with the cat and Bird. The cat thinks he is head of security. He sits by the front window the dog sleeps at the back of the house. He is funny if he sees some thing he runs hit the dog on the head and they both go off running and barking. Yes the cat barks he is confused he thinks he is a dog.

If the dog barks at the back the cat goes running for the back so they can protect the area. After they feel the situation is contained they part and go into their respected area of guard.

My problem is they ignore all wildlife that eat my plants.
