It des not matter how much of the gallon you apply to each pot. The important thing is getting the ratio right. If the dilution calls for 1 tsps./gal, the dilution will be the same whether you drench a 4" potted plant with the entire gallon or treat 10, 4" pots with that gallon. Your soil/plants are getting exactly the same dilution.
