Good question, Mindy. I don't have lizards here so I don't need to worry about protecting them. As for bees, I haven't seen them around the plants. But that could be because of location on my front porch where I don't keep flowering plants that would attract pollinators. I think this is a good question to ask your extension group at your local university. I did consider hazards to beneficials before placing my carnivorous plants there and didn't see a problem in my situation.
