For what it's worth, this all rather sounds like a can of worms to me. Strikes me that creating a bunch of badges for different plant societies is redundant to the plant badge associated with the group. Same with 50 different Master Gardener badges - there is already a state badge for those folks who like those, wouldn't just a generic MG badge fit the bill if one wants to add that to your profile? A generic higher education degree in a gardening field - botany, horticulture, landscape architecture, etc. And then there are folks who are long-time landscape designers, or own their own nurseries or yard services, etc. with no formal schooling - will they also want a special badge? A bit convoluted in my mind. Personally, I'm content to simply stick with areas of interest rather than personal accomplishments.

No disrespect intended to anyone.
