Great photos everyone.
Betty read the same thing on the AHS site several months ago when the Journal had a big spread on pattern daylilies, did not realize at the time it took so little variation in the eye to be considered a pattern. I assume any daylily that doesn't have a solid colored eye zone could be registered or promoted as a pattern daylily. I still grow some of Liz Salter's daylilies from the 70s,80s and 90s before the word pattern was ever used and her last name was still Hudson.
