Yes, Bert my begonias are outside. I don't actually have any "house plants" because I feel they harbor bugs in the house. So all my house plants are in pots out in the landscape. Begonias, especially the cane begonias, do really well in this climate. I sink the pots into the soil in summer to keep them a bit cooler. In winter they get moved to shelter when the temperatures dip into the 30's like they are predicted to do this week . .. Rolling my eyes.

We get random offerings at the big box stores of some really great begonias. That first one above was in a 3inch pot when I brought it home. I promptly divided it and made a dozen separate plants from that one little pot. There are 3 plants in the pot in the picture.
