I see what you are saying though--
In one area I do know that the one side of the rose has 2s and the other side has a 3, so I can tell the difference at least at the bottom to cut the 3--and I can certainly leave the tops if I can't tell which is which. Thank you for the 'permission' Smiling That does help!

In another area however--I cannot for the life of me remember what ended up where when everything got so crazy and time sensitive and plan A morphed into plan Q before the ground froze!
The one saving grace is that the new babies are just babies so there really isn't anything to prune on them. Hopefully, they'll live and bloom and let me know what they are so that I can be a little more knowledgeable about whatever I have done... Rolling my eyes.
