Dog Lover
Brook,
That was my first plant when I was about your age. In fact I still think I have the same one I think. It is one of the easiest plants to grow. The pictures are dark but it looks like you are doing fine.

Please understand that we are gardening in different parts of the country and even different parts of the world so conditions differ greatly so our directions are different. Soil mixtures make a huge difference in care!

Growing plants is fun and if you watch your plants carefully, you will notice when they look healthy and happy or when there is something wrong with them. In some plants the color gets a bit different, others tend to droop. Since we have great technologies now we can take pictures often to be able to notice changes.

I can even watch my table of plants by my sofa and a leaf will spring and I know they have just grown a bit.

Both your spider plant and the pothos clean the toxins out of the air. Plants are both frustrating and rewarding and each of us has had our share of tragedies and have been jubilant about our other plants. Keep us posted as to how yours are doing and sometime you will help solve our plant problems.
