What kind of symptoms did you Impatiens show when they had a virus? Last year mine started out beautifully, got big and full of blooms, then started having yellowing foliage and then losing leaves. I had made my own potting compost and thought perhaps there was some insect or pathogen in it, but the Impatiens were the only things affected- everything else grew beautifully all season.

There is a Torenia I've seen in the catalogs, that has an expanded yellow throat that covers most of the bloom, with a tiny white edge. I've only seen seeds for those, and am not really set up to start anything that early indoors -those need a pretty good head start.
