We got what looks like a few inches of snow covered by 1/4 " + of ice. We lost electric for just under twelve hours. Luckily we had the coal stove, so did not get cold in the house. The cats spent the day watching the squirrels try to get the little door on their feeder open. It had iced over and they could not lift the lid. The cats were very amused by this. The squirrels were just po'ed, big time. lots of stomping about and tail shaking. Dad took pity on them and threw out some birdseed and old peanutbutter pretzels. Those squirrels tore into that.
It's my cats world, I'm just here to open the cans.
