The purple in the base and viens of the standards is unique and I would love this one in my garden. Love the contrast in colors.
1R is interesting in that the standards are not "plicata" also but are solid in color. The fall band/ring is sharply defined and the white is bright. The is also a bright yellow in the haft area (vs a muted or dull color) and the beards seem to be different as I see very dark ones as well as some with yellow tips. Very interesting. I would like to see this with a darker (towards black) Fall band/ring.
