The coriander seed has come chemical in it that blocks the pain causing feature of arthritis. If you do a search on coriander and arthritis you will learn a lot about it for that use.
I know it works because I've given some to several different people both male and female of different ages. It also helps bring blood to the area you apply it to so some people may feel a warmth from it at first.
