Got most of my experimental k cup seedlings transplanted into yogurt cups. (moving one size up at a time) Surprisingly I haven't lost a single plant yet. Three types of basil have been transplanted into a flower box which I hope to move to the sun porch in a few weeks. Black Krim tomatoes, cayenne, jalepenos, eggplant and sweet peppers all seem close to third set of leaves. Broccoli seedlings are moving along but due to space they are only receiving light coming through window in the basement.
My best friend at the moment seems to be the fans I have on my babies for several hours a day. My agastache (peach color) seedlings are growing like crazy as well and with any luck I'll have hummingbirds this summer. I'm so ready for start more seedlings but space is limited until it gets warmer. Currently using the Turtle water from my 80 gallon tank that house two Red Eared Sliders that are 9 and 10 inches as my fertilizer. I'm using a mix of Vermiculite, Perlite and Sphagnum with a bit of coffee grinds mixed in.
Been busy collecting soda bottles and any bottles I can and getting them cut and ready for a vertical wall garden on my back deck this year.
