I've put in some effort this winter making some plate flowers also. What fun, but can be challenging too!

It's just getting harder and harder to find what I want/like, they are becoming more and more popular. Also, Goodwill, Salvation Army and any other thrift store I frequent is just getting out of control price-wise. Something I pick off the shelf and expect to be 49cents to a dollar is now at least $1.99 to 3.99. I don't know how they come up with their pricing. I can find the same two items on different shelves and they are marked different prices. But I did learn last week to not be afraid to haggle at GW, I found a small picture with a garden saying I'd like to use but the frame was chipped. I asked if they'd discount it, they knocked it down to 1/2 price without any hesitation. I've seen several pieces of glassware with almost invisible chips that I've passed over, now I know to ask if they'll discount it!

I'm wondering if anyone has used golfclubs to mount the plates to? I picked up a couple of those at $1.99 each and thought I'd give it a try.
Keep posting pictures, I enjoy getting more ideas!
