I always think that you can't place orchids that close together in an exhibit to have a good display, so that's where those filler plants come in.
Some vendors might set up displays using showy pots and keeping them separate for a more minimalistic look, just letting the plants shine ( as a straight Paph or Phal or Neofinetia grouping), most of the time the exhibitors seem to strive for the natural look?

I guess we could use a new thread showing interesting looking orchids? Distichous growth, those with patterned leaves etc? What do you think?
