The 'angelina' has had an amazing color change
it has spread out so much it seems to be thinner.I have noticed a lot of new growth on the stems. I think once it gets to the width i want i may have to trim the ends or it's going to take over.I didn't realize how fast it would spread.
This is the first winter i've had it and it's growth is amazing. In the pictures in my last post, the photos taken in the middle of Feb. it's almost completely red, then in less than a month actually about 2 weeks time it has put out all those bright yellow pom pom tips of new growth. That is why i didn't trim back the tips, it seems to be going to fill itself in without any help from my trimmers (scissors).
If i'm not mistaken the 1st pictures of it so red were taken after the ice & snow melted and the other 2 are recent, the sun has been shining and temp's are getting up into the high 70's to low 80's during the day.
Here they are the beginning of Jan. before snow storm & then the ice storm 2 weeks later.
I've noticed some of my photo's are fuzzy and the only thing i can come up with is, if i go out early is when they are fuzzy.Could the cold be fogging up my camera lens i wonder ???
