No, I actually posted my question/photos on ATP before contacting the MS Extension Service folks. Oddly enough, I have lots and lots of mulched beds plus a sizable raised garden, and these areas are adjacent to the grassy area where the slime mold is. I have neither seen this mold in any of the beds nor in the garden.
