I finally see a teeny, tiny hint of color above ground on 3 peonies! All planted last fall and 2 (P. Mlokosewitschii and P. Obovata var. Willmottiae ) so tiny that they won't bloom for several years. Other is a double red fernleaf; never tried one before but fell in love with pics from this forum last spring, ended up getting several, only seeing growth on one so far, though. Still too tiny to show up in a pic, maybe in a few days......here's hoping!
