We had a very weird winter this year. In December it got very cold for about a week. Down in the teens, which is fairly rare. Then it was pretty mild until the first week in February, when we got a lot of snow and cold tempts that hung around for just over a week. That was the last time it was cold enough to freeze. So spring sprang early this year. All my daylilies were up and growing in January and the snow and freeze in February didn't seem to faze them in the least. It was a chilly 50 degrees and wet today, but we are suppose to be in the 60"s and dry by the weekend. I'm counting my blessings as I know much of the country has had a very tough winter.
