Charter ATP Member I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database!
Just place them where they will not sit in water and, per Lynn, protect from predation and mischief. Best root growth appears when plant base is in contact with the ground and does not get disturbed, e.g. "moved". I like to mist new arrivals and think that helps them to grow.
