Thank you for the luck and well wishing.

Here are some sad, tiny chicks. Sad These were in bad shape when I got them, and I’ve lost a Red Beauty already. I might lose a couple more. I was pretty impressed with the company I got them from though. (Not going to name any names since I haven’t ordered from them enough to say whether they are overall good or bad). I called them, let them know what happened, and they not only are replacing what has died but are resending the whole order of 15 chicks.

I just moved these into pots, so I can bring them inside over nights. That way they can be under lights, and I can control the moisture a bit better. They also seem to actively produce roots more readily when not frozen. Hilarious!

I’ll see what I can save.
