This one was very red/brown this winter. It is the short days and cold temps that make it turn that color. Your gold coloring would be later in the season than mine, because of our different climates. Our warm weather starts much earlier in the year.
I can't believe I don't have a summer photo of mine. I will try to remember to do that this summer.
