A general chat thread. I couldn't find one to post on so I started this. Hope other people chime in!

Today I finished moving my ditch lilies to somewhere they can stand up straight and I won't mind them being tall.

Also moved my Kwanso since someone told me it's derived from the ditchlilies. Don't want its roots in the bed I had put it in. I put it on either side of my Black Knight buddleia.

Moved more buttercups but not done yet. I tried to smother them last year with newspaper only to learn that they need CARDBOARD to get smothered. Don't want a hip high plant where they were. want ankle high stuff there.

I also took the 2nd 4x4x4 compost pile apart - to be dug out for the fluffy soil on the bottom and refilled later with the tree that fell last year and the Rose of Sharon I cleared from the fence line.

Didn't get to the front yard at all. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow, it's a sit down and weed chore, not a bend and lift one. I'm trying to eradicate the potentilla 'Nana' that I put there thinking it would make a nice tidy "puddle" - it took over EVERYTHING!!

What did YOU do outside today?
