Great thread! You guys have been busy and making me look lazy, especially Jennifer with the rock harvest. LOL. I know that is hard work, but your beds will be beautiful.
I spent my day mostly pulling weeds and checking to see what was alive and what was dead. I had a lot of daylilies in pots and lost about 50, so I was tossing a lot of daylilies and using left over dirt to make planting pockets for my new hostas which did make it through the winter, I am shocked that none of them rotted. Not a one!! LOL.
I found a bunch of Heuchera that I got from SRG, I had re-potted them to a gallon and left them sitting there on the new bed. They held their color all winter and did not go dormant, also they grew. How crazy is that, I did not know they like cold weather but I do hope they can put up with some hot weather. Still thinking about were to plant them.
My DH dug up huge grasses from the corner garden, this is going to be a moon garden, it looks empty right now but all that will change soon. The small tree is a white Crape Myrtle and the small shrubs are white rose bushes.
I need to do more weeding in the hosta garden and see what is coming up where. I took a lot of pictures yesterday so I can review stuff when it is raining. Here are a few from the hosta garden.
