Such a bright, happy sight! I'm so glad I gave in to impulse last fall, and was seduced by colorful packaging when Lowes put out their display of fall bulbs. I typically avoid box store bulbs, as they are so often mislabled. They were cheap, and I figured if they bloomed the wrong color, I'd simply cut them and enjoy them in a vase. I got lucky, and so far, all have been correct. I got on a roll, and started picking up packages of bulbs here and there, and ended up ordering some as well. The joy they bring every time I look out the window is worth every penny spent :-)
