It definitely was a hard freeze. Most shrubs and trees about to bloom, well, the blooms
are toast. I don't know for sure about the extent of damage to the daylilies that were not
covered. Those covered are okay. The foliage on the uncovered ones was certainly frozen with ice on them. They didn't look too bad though when the ice melted, some leaves turned black, but tonight is another freeze. Hopefully, this does not kill the entire plants.
We had rain, cold, and wind while out covering stuff. At least everything is still alive as
of now, just a less colorful spring. As for the fruit and veggie farmers, I hope they had a way to save their crops.

Sorry Jan about your Bullfrog Kisses. Maybe it will peep out later, hopefully.
I don't have that one, but it has been on my list for awhile. That one is so pretty.
