Another hybridizer registered a different daylily under the name Organized Chaos, so now I'm not sure what to call it. Never bothered to find out if the Salter's registered it with a different name or not. I still have it labeled as Organized Chaos. I guess I should change the label to show that it is unregistered or something. Here's the daylily in question:
That was an issue with the Salter's, not registering their daylilies but actually releasing them with names (sometimes the names were already taken and they didn't check) and then taking months to get it done and sometimes a year. Mike Longo will not let those be listed on the auction (although a few may slip by) in the registered cultivar section and must be listed in the seedling section. Some people tried using them in daylily shows and found out they couldn't because they were not officially registered and then the selling issue on the auction as well as the names having to be changed because it was already taken (not the only hybridizer's to do this).
I believe they have taken care of this now and that is why it has taken so long for their website to be done; the web master had said it would be updated once the names were actually registered and he had the info on them.
I would ask the Salter's what the daylily is actually called now as I'm sure it was registered with a different name
