I love Violets too, I planted them as an edging on a new bed and the squirrels ate them all, they love that nice succulent heart.
By the way the leaves as well as the flowers are edible, very good in salads, but I guess the squirrels don't bother with bowls or dressing, they just enjoy" al naturel" Smiling
Wildflowers are the Smiles of Nature.
