I've been thinking about the subject of naming this get-together. Back in the day when the Pacific Northwest Lily Society was active, we had "Lily Symposium". I think "symposium" better describes the event as all aspects of growing and breeding sempervivum are open to discussion. It also adds a sense of authority to the gathering. With our Lily Symposium we had people come from as far away as Czechoslovakia (Vaclav Jost) and our own east coast (George Africa). Hey this could become really big! Sempervivum Symposium
