Well, that tells you nothing. If she has the number, maybe Bob still has the records on it? It sure wouldn't hurt to ask him about it, if this is something that is important to you. If you don't hybridize, it doesn't matter either way. If you do, it is nice to know, but isn't a requirement. I have bought only one seedling, and the parents were unknown, but it is beautiful, and that was all that mattered to me. If the price is good, and you love it, that is what matters. Do get some more info on it first though, like the size of the bloom, how tall it is, if it's a dormant, and so on.

I still think she should have sold you Get Jiggy for the price you "won" for the one that she sold out of. Otherwise, she shouldn't have mentioned that it was one you could pick from. That just stinks, making that kind of offer!
