Becky, not yet but for next summer season they are on my list..!! I am growing Vigna caracalla from seeds which is doing great, no blooms yet.. as we are in sub-tropical climate and near sea, the temperature rarely go below 50 F (10 C) in our mild winters, however we regularly cross the century mark in summers until monsoon rains arrive...

Yes Linda you are right they are actually perennials but the cultivated hybrid varieties grown from seeds mostly behave as annuals although they do re-seed sometimes . I liked that plant in the link, seems to be ideal for a cacti and succulent garden..
