I got two right now, going to keep them in container. So it is easier to bring them in winter.

Ficus microcarpa 'Ginseng'
Got this one at Ikea San Diego last Nov 2013. I l really like the thick base. So far have not repotted it and seems happy as long as it is in bright light area. I love how compact it grows, and easy enough to water, just making sure I remove it from that decorative container, allowing it to drain. I have read this one is used a lot for bonsai gardening..have not done that ever..so am reading more first if I can do it. Big Grin

Ficus maclelandii 'Alii'
Got this one this year for a shady area in my patio. So far going good. I love the long thin leaves. And so far it does not mind growing in the geopot container.
