All those sans you posted in the first page grow like weeds here, and we get crazy typhoons. We got those in the middle of highways, in grassy loamy ground. In my street alone we have more than 5 trifasciata varieties in the front yards with no rain protection. These guys may be more tolerant of water than we give them credit for.
