My head is bubbling with joy - what great photos and descriptions from MissMimie, Pat, and Hans! I'm a big fan (and practitioner) of starting with single or double fans only and know how great it is when all the care finally results in a growing number of healthy, blooming fans. I learn so much from them, and likewise, from hearing your stories about them.

To see a really bountiful collection of daylilies that spans all the way from species, to vintage, and "golden oldies" of just a decade or more back really gives an inter-generational appreciation and big picture look at all the flowers that are so valuable to the daylily family, and offers new ways to look forward and to do new things. There are, after all, far more daylilies to appreciate than just a steady diet of introductions, as pretty as they are. Glad to see that such a wide variety is blooming in everyone's gardens!

So, special thanks you guys, for keeping those beauties in the lineup! Lovey dubby Thumbs up Group hug
